What does your artwork represent?

In general each of the blocks represents a person. In "The Giver" each of the small blocks represent a child and the large block represents a mother. It is dedicated to every mother with children and the inspiration came from watching my sister raise her three girls.

In the Reminiscing pieces, there are two groups of blocks. The front blocks represent a group of related children and the back group represents those same children in their adult form. Typically, the front group has a more intense color juxtaposition than the back group. The arrangement of the blocks is also important only in that the front and back groups are separated and the front group seems disorganized (imagine children at play)and the back group has an upright feel to it (more reserved feel).
