Rondo is an excellent example of Petr’s fine artistry. Cast in a brilliant apricot / golden palette, this work weighs approximately 100 lbs. Typical of Petr pieces, Rondo’s gracefully arched front is textured by an acid wash which gives its surface a slightly pebbled appearance. The smooth translucent reverse side is optically polished. Regardless of viewing angle, Rondo presents its admirers with a unique perspective and palette which varies in tone.
